ACCESS INFORMATION

Your UAMS ID badge may fail to release a magnetically locked door for one of two reasons:

Your badge may not be coded for access.
If you swipe your badge through the reader and the indicator light alternates between green and red, your badge needs to be properly coded.
Please have your supervisor submit an online badge access request here.
Access request take aproximately 24-48 hours to be processed. If the badge holder still does not have access to the requested areas 24-48 hours after the request is submitted, then you can call the Campus Operations Call Center at 526-0000 and have a trouble ticket issued for badge access.

Your badge may be damaged.
If you swipe your badge through the reader and the indicator light remains steady red, the magnetic strip has been physically damaged. Please contact Creative Services at 686-5570 to obtain a new badge.
